La'Carter Hair Shampooing Tutorial
Materials Needed:
- La'Carter Growth Line
- Detangling Comb
- Rat Tail Comb
- Plastic bag, streamer, or hooded dryer
- Towel(s)
-
Start by thoroughly wetting your hair with warm water. Make sure your hair is completely saturated before adding any shampoo.
-
Dispense a quarter-sized amount of your chosen shampoo into the palm of your dominant hand. Rub your hands together to evenly distribute the shampoo, then apply it to your hair.
-
Using both hands, distribute the shampoo from your temples to the back of your head, making sure to evenly saturate your hair. Massage the shampoo in using a circular motion to help lather it up.
-
Rinse the shampoo out with warm or hot water. If you feel like your hair is particularly dirty, you can repeat this process with a dime-sized amount of shampoo.
-
Apply a generous amount of conditioner to your hair, focusing on the ends first and working your way up to the scalp. Use a wide-toothed comb to detangle your hair, starting from the ends and working your way up to the roots.
-
Allow the conditioner to sit in your hair for at least an hour. You can speed up the process by using a hair dryer or steamer, or by putting a shower cap over your hair.
-
After the allotted time has passed, use a small comb to gently remove any dead skin from your scalp in small circular motions.
-
Rinse your hair thoroughly with cool or tepid water to remove all the conditioner.
-
Finally, style your hair as desired and enjoy your clean, healthy locks!
